East Delhi Riders Women Triumph in Inaugural Match of Delhi Premier League

East Delhi Riders Women displayed an outstanding all-round performance to win by 11 runs against South Delhi Superstarz in the opening match of the women's Delhi Premier League on Monday.

Leading the charge for the Riders, Pratika Rawal scored a vital 41 off 38 balls, helping her team to post a competitive total of 114 for eight in their 20 overs. Medhavi Bidhuri was the standout bowler for the Superstarz, claiming three wickets for 20 runs.

In response, South Delhi Superstarz managed 103 for six in their 20 overs. Despite a determined effort from Riya Soni, who scored 32, and India A player Shweta Sehrawat, with 25 runs, the team fell short. Saachi and Madhu were instrumental for the Riders, contributing with both bat and ball to seal the victory.
