Karthik's quickfire 71 off 44 balls, Karun's 66 off 45, and Manoj Bhandage's unbeaten 44 off just 13 deliveries helped Mysore post a commanding 207 for four in their 20 overs. Bengaluru's response was led by Chethan LR, who scored 51, but the team was curtailed to 162 for eight by a fiery spell from Vidyadhar Patil (3/19) and K Gowtham (2/23).
Choosing to bat first, Mysore got off to a strong start with Karthik dominating the powerplay. Karthik brought up his third consecutive half-century in 30 balls, before being stumped by Shubhang Hegde. Karun Nair and Manoj Bhandage added crucial late runs, propelling Mysore past 200.
