Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Rai has expressed grave concerns over the widespread sale and consumption of drugs across the state. In a letter addressed to authorities, he pointed out the alarming rise in drug activities in both urban and rural areas.
Rai criticized the existing administrative setup, labeling it a failure as youth and marginalized populations suffer from the drug menace. He emphasized that while ordinary citizens can identify drug hotspots, the police remain ignorant.
Calling for urgent action, Rai urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to address the issue promptly, ensuring future generations are shielded from the dangers of drug addiction.
