Shuttler Manisha Ramdass kept India's medal hopes alive by advancing to the women's singles semifinals in the SU5 category at the Paris Paralympics. Ramdass produced a clinical performance to defeat Japan's Mamiko Toyoda 21-13, 21-16 in the quarterfinal match.

However, Mandeep Kaur and Palak Kohli witnessed contrasting defeats in their respective quarterfinals. Mandeep lost to Nigeria's Bolaji Mariam Eniola, marking her second consecutive defeat against the Nigerian player. Meanwhile, Palak Kohli fought hard but ultimately fell to Indonesia's Khalimatus Sadiyah.

The competition continues with Nithya Sivan Sumathy set to compete in the SH6 category, and an all-Indian men's singles semifinal in the SL4 category between Suhas Yathiraj and Sukant Kadam. Nitesh Kumar will face Japan's Daisuke Fujihara in the SL3 category semifinal.
