Rubina Francis extended India's medal-winning run by clinching bronze in the women's 10m air pistol SH1 event at the Paris Paralympics.

Francis, 25, secured India's fourth shooting medal and aggregated 211.1 to finish behind winners Iran's Sareh Javanmardi and Turkey's Aysel Ozgan. She qualified at the seventh spot earlier in the day.

Shuttlers Nitesh Kumar and Sukant Kadam also made strides, advancing to the semifinals in their respective categories with straight-game wins. However, India's cyclists and rowers faced disappointments, failing to make an impact in their events.
