Mikel Merino's Debut Delayed Due to Shoulder Injury

Arsenal's eagerly anticipated new signing, Mikel Merino, has seen his debut postponed following an unfortunate injury in training.
The Spanish midfielder, who recently joined the club for USD 42 million, injured his shoulder just two days after arriving at Arsenal. The incident took place when defender Gabriel Magalhaes accidentally fell on Merino during a practice session.
Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's manager, confirmed that Merino would be sidelined for several weeks. 'It's really bad luck, we were all excited, everything was looking good,' Arteta commented. 'He landed awkwardly, and Gabriel fell on top of him, resulting in a small fracture.' In the meantime, Merino will undergo further tests to determine the full extent of his injury.
