Brighton & Hove Albion have officially secured the services of Denmark midfielder Matt O'Riley from Celtic on a five-year contract, the Premier League club announced on Monday. The 23-year-old, who has twice been capped for Denmark, started his professional journey at Fulham before moving to Milton Keynes Dons in the English League Two. O'Riley transferred to Celtic in 2022, where he tallied 27 goals and 35 assists over 124 appearances.

Brighton, who recently pulled off a surprising 2-1 victory over Manchester United in the Premier League, are slated to host English League One club Crawley Town in the League Cup on Tuesday.
