Tottenham Hotspur will be without their new signing, Dominic Solanke, for their Premier League home game against Everton. The striker sustained an ankle injury, confirmed manager Ange Postecoglou on Friday.

Solanke, who joined Spurs from Bournemouth for a reported £65 million ($85.25 million), participated in the season opener against Leicester City.

Spurs had a 1-1 draw at Leicester, and Postecoglou stated, 'Dom picked up a knock in the last game. He got through but it flared up, and he'll miss the game tomorrow.'

Solanke's ankle injury occurred early in the Leicester game, and he scored 19 Premier League goals last season to boost Bournemouth's highest top-flight points total.

Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur will also miss due to concussion protocols. However, 27-year-old Mali international Yves Bissouma, who was suspended for the Leicester game after a video controversy, will be available.

'Biss is available,' said Postecoglou. 'We've got options. The idea of bulking up the squad is for these situations. He's available for selection.'

Postecoglou hinted at further roster changes, 'There's probably a couple more who will go out. We've brought in players in line with how we want to play but have more to do.'
