President of the Kabaddi Federation of Poland, Michal Spiczko, is optimistic about Kabaddi's inclusion in the 2036 Olympics. He also hopes Prime Minister Narendra Modi will advocate for India to host the games and promote indigenous sports like Kabaddi.

Following his statements on the India-Poland Kabaddi connection, Spiczko, along with Federation Board member Anna Kalbarczyk, met with PM Modi in Warsaw. Spiczko expressed his admiration for PM Modi, emphasizing Modi's contributions to sports infrastructure, such as the stadium in Ahmedabad where Spiczko played during the 2016 World Cup. He believes PM Modi can significantly strengthen India's sports stature globally, hoping Kabaddi will be featured in the 2036 Olympics.

In an official release, PM Modi praised Spiczko and Kalbarczyk for their efforts in promoting Kabaddi in Poland and Europe. PM Modi highlighted the sport's role in enhancing bilateral relations and cultural exchanges between India and Poland. Addressing the Indian community in Warsaw, PM Modi remarked on the deep Kabaddi connection shared by both nations and lauded Poland's achievements in the sport, including their European championship wins and the upcoming championship hosting.
