England's Men and Women Cricket Teams to Face India and West Indies Simultaneously in 2024

The England & Wales Cricket Board has announced that both the men's and women's teams will play series against India and West Indies concurrently next year. The schedule includes multiple T20Is and ODIs for both teams, culminating in a five-test series for the men against India.

England's men's and women's cricket teams are set to play concurrent series against India and the West Indies next year, the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced on Thursday.

In May and June, both teams will participate in three-match Twenty20 international series and one-day international series against the West Indies. The England men will then tackle a five-test series against India from June 20 to August 4. This series begins at Headingley and includes matches at Edgbaston, Lord's, Old Trafford, and culminates at the Oval.

Meanwhile, the women's team will also face India in a five-match T20 international series from June 28 to July 12, followed by three ODIs from July 16 to 22. ECB chief Richard Gould expressed his excitement, highlighting the popularity of joint series among fans and its support for the growth of women's cricket. Additionally, the men's team will play white-ball series against South Africa and Ireland, and a test match against Zimbabwe in late May.
