Team captain Ricky Meetei Haobam urged his teammates to stay positive amidst the challenges. "Such things are never in your control, so there's no point dwelling on them. If something does not go according to plan, we just have to keep positive and prepare for the next day, or the next activity. It's all in the mind," he said.

Despite the disrupted plans, the team remains optimistic. They began their campaign with a 1-0 victory against Bhutan and are now focused on advancing to the semi-finals by avoiding defeat in the upcoming match against the Maldives.
