Julian Alaphilippe Joins Tudor Pro Cycling: A New Chapter Begins

Two-time world champion Julian Alaphilippe is set to join Tudor Pro Cycling next season after a decade with Soudal-Quick Step, the Swiss team announced on Monday. Alaphilippe, 32, has committed to a three-year deal with Tudor Pro, marking a significant shift in his professional journey since he began with the Belgian Soudal team in 2014.

Alaphilippe, who clinched the World Road Race Championships in 2020 and 2021 and boasts six Tour de France stage victories, is optimistic about the change. 'After more than ten years with the same team, it was time for a change,' Alaphilippe remarked in a team statement. 'This is the biggest change since the start of my career, and I believe it's beneficial to have a new environment after so many years.'

In addition to his world titles, Alaphilippe has also triumphed in prestigious races such as Milan-San Remo and Strade Bianche. He recently achieved 11th place in the road race at the Paris Olympic Games held earlier this month.
