Carlo Ancelotti, who led Real Madrid to a La Liga and Champions League double last season, faces growing speculation about his future with the club as his contract expires next summer. Despite guiding Los Blancos to a comfortable league title over Barcelona and Girona, questions loom large about what comes next for the veteran coach.

Halfway through last season, Ancelotti was linked with a move to the Brazilian national team. However, the 65-year-old turned down the offer, later revealing his preference for club management. Speaking on John Obi Mikel's podcast, as quoted by Goal.com, Ancelotti said, "My idea is that Real Madrid will be my last club. At the moment, I am not excited about coaching a national team because I would miss the day-to-day work with players and the staff," shedding light on his current mindset.

Ancelotti is recognized as one of the most seasoned managers in European football, having initiated his coaching journey in 1992 as an assistant to Arrigo Sacchi. His head coaching career took off with Reggiana in 1995, leading him to manage ten clubs, including giants like AC Milan, Juventus, Paris Saint Germain, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Real Madrid. With five Champions League titles and a total of 28 trophies to his name, Ancelotti's career is marked by substantial achievements. The upcoming season, possibly his last, might prove to be his most challenging as he aims to build on last season's success with the integration of Kylian Mbappe into the squad.
