Showing complete control, Sen clinched a 21-12, 21-6 win in just 39 minutes. The reigning Commonwealth Games champion and 2021 World Championships bronze-medallist joins Parupalli Kashyap and Kidambi Srikanth as only the third Indian male player to reach this stage.
Sen, currently ranked 22nd, is set to face 12th seed Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei in the upcoming quarterfinals.
