Sarabjot spoke to ANI about his joy in winning a medal for India for the first time. 'It feels great that I have won an Olympic medal for the first time for my country. I gave my best. I hope I will give my best in the next Olympics,' he said.

Standing on the podium, overwhelmed by the moment, Sarabjot expressed feelings that words couldn't capture. 'I felt goosebumps. It is a next level vibe,' he said. Despite not often talking to partner Manu Bhaker due to different event timings, their primary discussion revolved around giving their best performance.

The pair formed their team in the 2019 nationals and have since won numerous medals together. They defeated South Korea's Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin 16-10 in the bronze medal play-off match, contributing to India's overall tally of two medals at the Paris Olympics.

Earlier, the duo secured 580-20x points to finish third, behind Turkiye and Serbia. In the qualification round, each team member shot a total of 30 shots within 30 minutes, with the top four teams advancing to the medal rounds. Manu-Sarabjot showed consistent high performance throughout the series against the Koreans.

Their scores were detailed as follows: in the first series, they secured 193 points, in the second, 195 points, and in the third, 192 points, bringing their total to 580-20x. This remarkable performance highlights their high-caliber skills and teamwork.
