Nida Dar-led Pakistan won the toss and chose to field against UAE's Esha Rohit Oza in the Women's Asia Cup 2024 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Tuesday. Pakistan Women are second in Group A with two points after their dominant nine-wicket victory over Nepal.

Gull Feroza and Muneeba Ali's standout performances propelled Pakistan to a comfortable win against Nepal on Sunday. Dar's decision to bowl first proved fruitful, as Sita Rana Magar and Kabita Joshi were the only Nepali players to make significant contributions. Sadia Iqbal led the bowling attack with two crucial wickets for just 19 runs.

The Pakistani openers, Feroza and Ali, powered the run chase with a 105-run stand, finishing the match in the 12th over. Despite Feroza falling to Kabita Joshi, Pakistan secured a nine-wicket victory. UAE, yet to win in the tournament, face an uphill battle after losing to India by 78 runs. Despite wanted to bowl first, UAE's Oza made a squad change, bringing in Suraksha Kotte for Rithika.

Pakistan's lineup includes Feroza, Ali, Sidra Ameen, Aliya Riaz, Dar, Tuba Hassan, Omaima Sohail, Fatima Sana, Syeda Aroob Shah, Nashra Sandhu, and Sadia Iqbal. UAE's team features Oza, Theertha Satish, Rinitha Rajith, Samaira Dharnidharka, Kavisha Egodage, Khushi Sharma, Heena Hotchandani, Kotte, Vaishnave Mahesh, Lavanya Keny, and Indhuja Nandakumar.
