The Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2024 final is set to dazzle fans with a 500-drone laser show, a first for Sri Lanka, celebrating the nation's cricketing legends. The final match will see Jaffna Kings go up against Galle Titans at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo this Sunday.

Jaffna Kings secured their spot in the final after a narrow victory over Kandy Falcons, winning by just one run. They will face Galle Titans, who topped the league table with five wins and ten points from eight matches. The final is not just a cricket match but a global event with 220 delegates from 108 ICC member countries and 30,000 cricket fans in attendance. The spectacular drone show will exhibit 12 formations during the innings break, enhancing the memorable cricketing experience.

The event will highlight legendary cricketers like Sanath Jayasuriya and Kumar Sangakkara and celebrate the five participating teams of LPL. The tournament showcased high-octane matches, thrilling finishes, and outstanding individual performances. With a record 307 sixes, this season was a bonanza for batters, albeit tough on bowlers.
