Indian golfer Vani Kapoor carded a steady two-under 70, becoming the top Indian performer on the opening day of the Dutch Ladies Open at Hilversumsche Golf Club. Kapoor's round included three birdies and a single bogey on Par-3 10th. She began the day with a bogey but rebounded impressively.
After an initial bogey on the tenth, Kapoor birdied on the 17th, and then managed two more on the seventh and eighth to finish with a score of 70.
Meanwhile, her compatriots Tvesa Malik and Ridhima Dilawari both shot 1-over 73, placing them at T-64. Swiss golfer Kim Metraux took the lead with an impressive seven-under-par 65, with a series of birdies that put her ahead.
