The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) has kicked off registrations for the National Esports Championship 2024 (NESC24). This event will serve as the qualifying round for the esports competition at the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in Chonburi, Thailand.

Organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), the AIMAG features 36 sports, with esports now a medal event. The competition will take place from November 23 to 28 at Chonburi's Central Sriracha, and will include three mobile games: Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Arena of Valor, and eFootball.

However, India will only compete in the eFootball category due to bans on the other games within the country. NESC24 will be held online in early August, giving Indian players an opportunity to showcase their skills. The selected players will receive training ahead of the continental games.
