Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Shadab Khan spearheaded the triumph, as the Strikers chased down an underwhelming target of 110 in a mere 9.5 overs. Commencing the chase, opener Angelo Perera set an aggressive tone with a swift 16 off 8 balls before his early dismissal. His partner, Gurbaz, alongside Muhammad Waseem, maintained a high scoring rate despite interruptions by rain. By the end of the powerplay, the Strikers were firmly in control at 66/1, with Gurbaz showcasing his formidable form.
