Napoli have completed the signing of Italy defender Alessandro Buongiorno from Torino, as announced by both Serie A clubs on Saturday.

According to Italian media, the 25-year-old Buongiorno has inked a five-year deal with Antonio Conte's side, with a transfer fee set at approximately 35 million euros ($38.17 million).

Buongiorno debuted for Italy in 2023 and has earned four caps. He was included in Luciano Spalletti's squad for the European Championship but did not see game time in the tournament's four matches.
