In a stunning display of skill and determination, Hemanth Muddappa, a 12-time National champion, clinched a triple victory in the second round of the MMSC-FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Drag Racing Championship held at Irungattukottai on Sunday. Representing Mantra Racing, Muddappa initially finished third in the 4-stroke 551 to 850cc Super Sport class, behind Mohammed Riyaz and Altaf Khan.

Muddappa made a remarkable comeback, winning the 851 to 1050cc Super Sport class with a blistering time of 07.915 seconds, outpacing competitors Niranjan R Kumar and Khaja Awais.
