India stands on the brink of a groundbreaking year as ISRO prepares for its maiden satellite docking mission, SpaDeX, slated for January 7. This mission is expected to position India among an elite circle of nations with advanced docking technologies.

Prime among ISRO's upcoming ventures is the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) satellite launch by March, touted as the priciest of its kind. Meanwhile, the GSLV will herald the 100th launch from Sriharikota, carrying the NVS-02 satellite for NavIC services in January.

In addition, ISRO aims to test the Crew Escape System for the Gaganyaan mission by March and anticipates its first uncrewed mission, including the Vyommitra robot, in the first quarter. Human space flight under Gaganyaan is projected for late 2025 or early 2026, enhancing India's prominence in space exploration.
