The Haryana government, spearheaded by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, is gearing up to roll out a transformative housing scheme for low-income families. Key to the plan is the allocation of 100-square-yard plots, enabling beneficiaries to construct their own homes and significantly improve their living standards.
The initiative, known as Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojna, has elicited positive anticipation, with 5,00,000 applications already submitted. The government has committed to ensuring that two lakh eligible individuals will soon receive these plots, thereby fulfilling their dreams of homeownership.
Beyond land allocation, the scheme also promises financial support through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) to facilitate house construction. Essential amenities like roads, electricity, and parks will be integrated into these developments, underscoring a comprehensive approach to sustainable rural living.
