Coromandel's New Leadership Spearheads Infra Development

Coromandel Engineering Company, a prominent infrastructure firm based in Chennai, announced the appointment of G V Manimaran as its new Chairman and Managing Director on Tuesday. His tenure begins immediately and will span five years.
Manimaran, who will also serve as an additional Executive Director, brings over 40 years of diverse industry experience, including his roles in banking, finance, legal, and marketing. Notably, he founded Sasvitha Home Finance Limited and was previously a director at Canara Bank.
Furthermore, Coromandel's board has signed a memorandum of understanding with Nico Allen Infrastructure Pvt Ltd and Bharath Medical College and Hospital for infrastructure projects valued at Rs 450 crore. The board also reinforced its leadership by appointing three independent directors, including former Tamil Nadu DGP M Ravi and former CEO of Adani ports - Mundra, Ennarasu Karunesan.
