The ICG, closely monitoring the situation, coordinated with local administrations and disaster management authorities, is ready to execute rescue and relief operations if necessary. Disaster relief teams and assets are prepared to assist those in need.
Efforts have been made to alert fishing communities through regular weather warnings and advisories, urging them to seek safe shelter as the cyclone is projected to make landfall on October 24-25, 2024. Fishermen have been advised to return to shore immediately to ensure their safety.
