The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened with a decline of 53.7 points, or 0.12%, landing at 43,222.21. Concurrently, the S&P 500 saw a fall of 6.9 points, or 0.12%, reaching 5,857.82 at the open.
The Nasdaq Composite also followed suit, dropping 33.1 points, or 0.18%, at the opening bell to settle at 18,456.481. The declines reflect the market's cautious stance ahead of the release of key corporate earnings.
