IMD's bulletin highlights a formation over the central Andaman Sea, with potential development into a depression around October 23. Director General Mrutyunjaya Mohapatra emphasized caution, citing the need for further monitoring before predicting a cyclonic storm.
Heavy rainfall and rough sea conditions are predicted along the Odisha coast from October 23-25. Mohapatra advised fishermen to return to shore by October 21 amidst the looming threat.
