Japan's Meteorological Outlook: La Nina on the Horizon?
Japan's weather bureau reports no current signs of El Nino or La Nina, but indicates La Nina characteristics are developing. The bureau anticipates clearer La Nina conditions by winter, although they are expected to be short-lived. The likelihood of La Nina or normal weather is currently evenly split.

The Japan Meteorological Agency announced on Thursday that there are currently no indications of El Nino or La Nina phenomena. However, La Nina characteristics are beginning to emerge.
The agency predicts that as winter approaches, the signs of La Nina will become more apparent. Despite this, the phenomenon is expected to be temporary.
The atmospheric division revealed that the chances of La Nina developing or normal weather conditions persisting are currently balanced at fifty percent each.
