In a tragic incident, eight individuals, including two women and a child, lost their lives, and 18 others sustained injuries following a jeep-truck collision in Rajasthan's Sirohi district on Sunday night, according to police reports.
The police reported that the overcrowded jeep was traveling on the wrong side of the road when it collided with the truck. Sirohi Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar stated that police immediately responded to the scene, and the injured were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital.
Hamir Singh, the Station House Officer of Pindwada police station, confirmed that the collision resulted in the deaths of five men, one child, and two women. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
