Officials from the state's relief department disclosed that heavy rainfall resulted in five deaths in Mainpuri and two in Mathura. Additional casualties were reported from Jalaun, Banda, and Etah.

The Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted very heavy rains and possible flash floods across multiple districts in the Awadh and Rohilkhand regions.

Relief commissioner GS Naveen Kumar stated, 'Districts experiencing excessive rainfall are under constant monitoring. Flood-specific teams such as PAC, SDRF, and NDRF are on standby.'

Uttar Pradesh has received an average of 28.6 mm of rainfall in the past day, with Hathras district recording the highest at 185.1 mm.

Significant structural damage due to flooding was reported in Mathura, including the partial collapse of 31 houses and the boundary wall of a community health center. District authorities have ordered the closure of all institutions due to ongoing heavy rains.
