Water Disruption in Southeast Delhi Due to Maintenance Work

Residents of Okhla in southeast Delhi will face water supply interruption on the evening of September 11 and the morning of September 12 due to scheduled maintenance work, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) announced on Monday.
The affected areas include Okhla staff quarters, Holy Family Hospital, Gandhi Camp, Harkesh Nagar, C-Lal Chowk, Giri Nagar, and their surrounding regions, according to a statement from the DJB.
The maintenance involves installing a 500 mm diameter flowmeter at the outlet line of C-Lal Chowk in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-II, which will occur from 10 am to 10 pm on September 11.
The board has advised residents of the affected areas to store sufficient water in advance and noted that water tankers could be requested from the Central Control Room.
