In a significant diplomatic move, Israel's Transport Minister Miri Regev met with India's Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday to discuss collaboration in urban transport and infrastructure.

The Union ministry of housing and urban affairs revealed that Israel extended an invitation to Indian companies to undertake urban infrastructure projects in the country.

Khattar highlighted India's expertise in metro construction during the talks, emphasizing that joint efforts could revolutionize Israeli urban transport. Key discussions on urban development, transport, and infrastructure were at the forefront of the meeting, the ministry shared on social media platform X.
