Shanghai Museum's 'Meow Night' Mesmerizes Cat Lovers

The Shanghai Museum has become a hotspot this summer, drawing large crowds with its unique 'Meow Night' event. The exhibition showcases ancient Egyptian relics, including cat statues and other feline imagery, allowing visitors to bring their own pet cats on Saturday nights.

Inspired by the worship of Bastet, the Egyptian goddess of protection often depicted as a cat, the museum has creatively allowed feline friends to be part of the experience. This new initiative lets up to 200 visitors bring their cats to interact with the exhibition.

The highlight, 'The Secrets of Saqqara,' has fascinated both human and feline visitors, creating a buzz among cat lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
