On Friday, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) celebrated the first anniversary of India's Chandrayaan-3 mission by releasing over 55 gigabytes of its scientific data for global researchers.

This data, collected from the Vikram lander and Pragyan rover, marks a historic soft landing near the Moon's south pole on August 23 last year. The release aims to further lunar exploration and resource utilization.

ISRO Chairman S Somanath announced during the National Space Day celebrations that this data would be available to all researchers via the PRADAN portal. Additionally, President Droupadi Murmu hailed the mission's findings, published in the science journal 'Nature', for their significant contributions to space science.
