Delhi PWD Minister Boosts Guru Ravidas Marg's Transformation

Delhi PWD Minister Atishi is overseeing the reinforcement and beautification of Guru Ravidas Marg. Enhancements include modern footpaths, service roads, greenery, and improved parking facilities. This project aims to boost inter-connectivity and provide a safer, more attractive commuting experience, embodying the government's mission to revamp the city's infrastructure.

Delhi PWD Minister Atishi on Wednesday reviewed the progress of the ongoing strengthening and beautification work on Guru Ravidas Marg, currently in its initial phase.

According to an official statement, the beautification project includes modernizing footpaths and service roads, enhancing greenery through planting on the central verge, and recarpeting the road for added durability and attractiveness. Parking provisions will be made to improve convenience for commuters.

Minister Atishi highlighted the significance of Guru Ravidas Marg as one of the busiest roads in the Kalkaji assembly, used daily by thousands. The improvements aim to boost inter-connectivity within the region, making the road a symbol of the assembly's identity. Under Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's leadership, the government is dedicated to transforming Delhi's roads, she noted. Spanning about four kilometers and connecting Maa Anandmai Marg with Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, the project promises a world-class commuting experience on a safer, more beautiful road.
