Tragic Motorcycle Accident Claims Two Lives in Mirzapur

Two men, Rajan Sharma and Lalit Sharma, were killed in a tragic accident when their motorcycle was crushed by a trailer truck in Mirzapur. The incident occurred at the Hathinala intersection, and police promptly responded. Bodies were sent for post-mortem. Investigations are ongoing.

Two men riding a motorcycle were killed after they were crushed under a trailer truck on Friday evening here, police said. Hathinaala police station in-charge Bhaiya Shiv Prasad Singh identified the victims as cousins Rajan Sharma (30) and Lalit Sharma (26), residents of Halia village in Mirzapur district. They were en route to Renukut for some work.

According to Singh, the fatal incident occurred at the Hathinala intersection, when the trailer truck lost control and overturned, crushing the two men. Both victims died on the spot. Emergency services and police arrived quickly upon receiving the information.

Subsequent procedures were followed, including sending the bodies for post-mortem examination. Authorities have commenced an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
