Jayam Ravi, a prominent Tamil cinema actor, announced on Monday that he is proceeding with the dissolution of his marriage to Aarti, his wife of 15 years, citing 'personal reasons'.
Ravi, who shot to pan-Indian fame with Mani Ratnam's two-part historical epic 'Ponniyin Selvan', where he played Prince Arulmozhi Varman, revealed the news through a solemn post on X. The actor stressed that the decision wasn't made in haste but after much thought and discussion, believing it to be in the best interests of everyone involved.
