Tragic Landslide in Tehri Garhwal: Mother and Daughter Buried Alive

A landslide triggered by incessant rainfall buried a 42-year-old woman and her teenage daughter in Tehri Garhwal's Budhakedar area on Saturday, officials reported.
The search operation, conducted by police and SDRF personnel, successfully recovered the bodies of Sarita Devi and her 15-year-old daughter, Ankita, stated District Magistrate Mayur Dikshit.
The retaining wall behind their house collapsed due to heavy rains, burying them under the debris. Two other family members were rescued.
