South Korea is facing severe threats from North Korea after anti-Pyongyang leaflets were dropped over its territory. Kim Yo Jong, the influential sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, conveyed this warning through state media KCNA.

According to Kim, at least 29 large balloons carrying these leaflets have been discovered within North Korea, causing disruptions and prompting blockades in certain regions. This incident follows North Korea's recent retaliation of sending thousands of trash-filled balloons to South Korea in protest of the defectors and activists who have long been distributing aid parcels and critical leaflets across the border.

Kim further cautioned that Pyongyang might resort to even harsher actions if what she described as 'petty and dirty' behavior continues, issuing a stark warning of 'devastating and horrible consequences' for South Korea.
