On Tuesday, BJP MLAs staged a protest at the office of Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, calling for an urgent assembly session to address 14 pending reports from the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG).

Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta handed a memorandum to Goel, urging immediate action. Gupta expressed concerns over the AAP government's delayed tabling of the CAG reports, accusing the administration of evading accountability.

Highlighting public interest, Gupta noted the delay violates constitutional rights and erodes public trust. The BJP has sought intervention from the Delhi High Court to ensure the reports are tabled promptly, ahead of February's assembly elections.
