Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reaffirmed his administration's commitment to infrastructure advancement in Palghar district. Speaking at rallies, Shinde endorsed candidates Rajendra Gavit and Vilas Tare for upcoming state elections on November 20.
A highlight of Shinde's address was the discussion of significant projects like the Rs 76,000 crore Vadhvan Port and extensions of the Mumbai Sea Link. He underscored Palghar's potential as a developing economic hub and reassured local fishermen about the benefits these projects will bring.
Amid opposition from fishermen and political threats from Shiv Sena (UBT), Shinde maintained a firm stance on pursuing development. He also noted Gavit's political experience and promised roles for other leaders who stepped down, while addressing election-related incidents involving opposition leader Uddhav Thackeray.
