Uddhav Thackeray, the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief, lashed out at Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the transfer of industrial projects from Maharashtra to Gujarat. He challenged Shah to define his vision of development, emphasizing his own stance against project flights.
Thackeray reiterated his opposition to the proposed Barsu refinery project in the Konkan region, citing ecological risks. Addressing a rally in Sindhudurg, he named the upcoming elections as a showdown between 'Maharashtra premi' and 'Maharashtra drohi'.
The former chief minister also criticized the BJP for allegedly halting a submarine project in Maharashtra, accusing them of undermining his political prospects. The heated political climate intensifies as BJP MLA Nitesh Rane contests against Shiv Sena's Sandesh Parkar.
