A gathering of political leaders will take place on Friday to honor the late former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who passed away at the age of 92. The event will be marked by a 'Shabadv Kirtan and Antim Ardas' at the Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib, commencing at 3 PM.
Dr. Singh's family is also set to conduct a 'bhog' of the 'Akhand Path' at their Motilal Nehru Marg residence. This observance aims to respect the significant legacy left by Singh, remembered for his substantial contributions to India's economic reforms in the 1990s.
Singh led the nation from 2004 to 2014, earning a reputation as the architect of economic change. The ceremony will see participation from leaders across the political spectrum, reflecting on his transformative policies and leadership during his tenure.
