Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during a rally in Jharkhand's Baghmara, accused the Waqf Board of seizing temple lands and assets belonging to villagers in Karnataka. He called for amendments to the Waqf Act, stating, "The Waqf Board is in the habit of grabbing land," while promising BJP's commitment to pass the necessary legislation.

Shah further claimed that the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code is imperative to combat infiltration and assured the tribal communities that they would be exempt from it. He criticized the JMM-led coalition for allegedly converting infiltrators into a vote bank, stating, "Trainloads of illegal immigrants will be sent to Bangladesh if the BJP is voted to power in Jharkhand."

The home minister also accused Congress of opposing OBC reservations and vowed to transform Jharkhand into the most prosperous state with the establishment of mineral-based industries. Targeting corruption, Shah promised to recover funds allegedly misappropriated by leaders and emphasized that women's property registrations would cost only one rupee under BJP's governance.
