In a fiery public address in Chinia, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav launched a scathing attack on the Congress party and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He accused them of being power-hungry and failing to honor Birsa Munda's legacy, a significant freedom fighter from Jharkhand, amidst his campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Yadav didn't just stop with accusations. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his initiative to commemorate Birsa Munda Jayanti nationwide on November 15, while asserting that Congress lacks regard for historical figures like Munda. He declared that recognizing Munda's contributions was long overdue.

Further escalating his rhetoric, Yadav characterized the imminent state assembly election as a 'religious battle,' stressing its critical importance for Sanatan Dharma. He alleged that Bangladeshi intruders have been encroaching upon local lands, blaming the silence of Congress and Soren on their quest for votes. With the Jharkhand political landscape poised for intense scrutiny, the 81-member assembly is set to go to polls in two phases on November 13 and 20, counting slated for November 23.
