Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a campaign tour in poll-bound Jharkhand, marking a significant moment in the state's political landscape. RJD Chief Lalu Yadav expressed strong confidence in his party's success, dismissing Modi's influence. Yadav stated, 'The candidate of Mahagathbandhan will win here. Modiji has gone, he came and now he is gone.'
The electoral battle intensifies as BJP's incumbent MLA Neera Yadav contests against RJD's Subhash Yadav in the critical Koderma Assembly Constituency. Modi's campaign saw a bustling roadshow in Ranchi and rallies in Bokaro and Gumla, where he criticized Congress and its allies for allegedly inciting divisions among castes.
Modi delivered sharp criticism of the JMM and Congress alliance, asserting the need for a BJP-led government to counter alleged societal infiltrations. He accused Congress and JMM of exploiting divisive strategies for power. The upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections, split into two phases, are slated for November 13 and 20, with vote counting on November 23.
