Speaking to a large gathering, Rahul Gandhi pledged support to his sister's campaign, promising to make Wayanad the best tourism spot worldwide, during a roadshow that spanned from Assumption Junction to Chungam Junction in Sultan Bathery.

Addressing the crowd, Rahul Gandhi emphasized the significant role of love in politics, a lesson he attributed to the people of Wayanad. The impending by-election, set for November 13, comes after Rahul vacated the seat following his victory in Raebareli.
