In a scathing response to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi dismissed Fadnavis' future prospects of becoming Chief Minister, predicting his 'dreams are set to be shattered'. Addressing the media, Owaisi highlighted underlying tensions within the political alliance.
The remarks came during Owaisi's campaign in the Aurangabad East Assembly seat for AIMIM candidate Imtiaz Jaleel. Previously, Fadnavis had urged for a 'Dharma-Yuddha' of the vote to counter 'Vote-Jihad' while campaigning for the Mahayuti alliance in the Assembly polls.
In other developments, the BJP unveiled its election manifesto in Mumbai, spearheaded by Amit Shah, offering significant assurances, including a monthly stipend for women, agricultural loan waivers, and price stability. Maharashtra's Assembly elections are set for November 20, with results on November 23, as the opposition MVA coalition aims to regain control from the ruling Mahayuti alliance.
