As the Channapatna by-election draws near, HD Kumaraswamy, former Chief Minister of Karnataka, launched a scathing attack on Congress leaders, accusing them of forming opportunistic alliances. Labeling the situation as 'thieves uniting with thieves,' Kumaraswamy criticized Congress for political maneuvering while emphasizing his focus on development-oriented politics.
Addressing a political rally in Dashavara village, Kumaraswamy lamented the influx of vehicles in Channapatna, likening it to the Mysuru by-election. He alleged that Congress has offered little to the Ramanagara district, pointing to their leader's shifting allegiances as a sign of political convenience. He reiterated his commitment to transform Ramanagara and Channapatna into vibrant twin cities.
Kumaraswamy voiced serious concerns about the current state administration's handling of agricultural issues, claiming it led to despair among farmers. He accused the Congress government of exacerbating Karnataka's financial woes by accumulating significant debt. Framing the by-election as a battle of virtues, he described Nikhil's candidacy as a reflection of divine intervention and announced a significant rally to bolster support.
